Deerfield Beach Woman Accused of Battering Elderly Mother at Boca Raton’s Mizner Park

A Deerfield Beach woman has been accused of assaulting her elderly mother during a family pick-up at Mizner Park in Boca Raton. Natalie Nicole Zelechowski, 21, was arrested late Tuesday night after Boca Raton Police responded to a domestic disturbance at American Social on Plaza Real. The victim, over 65, sustained visible injuries, according to Boca News Now.

The incident reportedly began shortly after 11 p.m. on Tuesday, when the victim went to Parking Garage A to pick up Zelechowski, who had been out with friends. As the woman approached her daughter, Zelechowski allegedly pushed her mother’s hand, causing a phone to hit her face and swell her upper left eyelid. The altercation continued inside a vehicle driven by Zelechowski’s father. While pulling out of the parking spot, Zelechowski, seated in the back, allegedly struck the victim in the front passenger seat, causing a bloody nose. The victim’s husband, who witnessed the incident, corroborated these details.

Zelechowski was arrested and charged with battery on a person 65 or older. Palm Beach County Jail records show she is being held without bond, with a court date pending.
