The Palm Beach Architectural Commission might be willing to compromise with homeowners to allow fake grass to be installed on a property — but not if it covers a majority of the lawn.
The board’s recent position on the issue means that code-enforcement fines against Desmond and Cristina Keogh, who own 241 El Dorado Lane, continue to rack up, because the couple replaced practically all the grass throughout their nearly half-acre property with fake turf, without the town’s approval. Those fines currently exceed $75,000.
