An accountant accused of embezzling more than $5 million from his former employer is headed to state prison, days after authorities said that his brother killed the company’s co-owners at their offices in Boynton Beach.
Circuit Judge Daliah Weiss imposed a sentence of 18 years on Sadman Dawla during a hearing Jan. 15 at the Palm Beach County Courthouse. Her action came three days after Dawla’s older brother, Nesar, shot and killed the two co-owners of All-American Farms of Boynton Beach, the company from which Dawla stole the money, according to police accounts.
