Residents and visitors of Deerfield Beach, brace yourselves for a little disruption coming your way this Monday. According to the City of Deerfield Beach’s announcement, a planned water outage will be taking place on January 26, 2026, that’ll affect both Hillsboro Landing One and Hillsboro Landing II. The outage is scheduled for installation of a new drainage structure. Scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., the operation will also see one portion of the South Lane on Riverview Rd closed.
The construction necessitates a temporary withdrawal of water service, which, in the words of the City of Deerfield Beach, is “necessary to install a new drainage structure.” While under the shadow of the shutoff, the City appeals to the public’s understanding, asking for adherence to traffic regulations to ensure both safety and efficiency as stated in their announcement.
