Proposed 12-story hotel to replace Boca Raton ‘pink plaza’ moves forward

BOCA RATON, Fla. (CBS12) — Plans for a 12-story, 219-room hotel, replacing Boca Raton’s “pink plaza,” have moved forward after receiving support from the city’s advisory panel.

According to CBS12 partners at the South Florida Sun Sentinel, the Community Appearance Board voted to recommend approval of the project’s landscaping and exterior plans. However, the proposal still needs to go through additional city boards before a final decision can be made.
