Six Palm Beach County restaurants temporarily shuttered for mold, roach infestations

PALM BEACH COUNTY, Fla. (CBS12) — From roaches in ovens to moldy ice machines, health inspectors shuttered six Palm Beach County eateries last week for food safety violations.

CBS12 news partners at the South Florida Sun-Sentinel reported on the newest round of inspection conducted by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation on Friday, which shuttered eight restaurants and food trucks in South Florida, including six in Palm Beach County.

Restaurants that are shut down due to failed inspections are ordered to stay closed until they pass a follow-up inspection.
