WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — A man convicted of trying to kill his former psychiatrist in a 2023 shooting outside a downtown Delray Beach office building has been sentenced to 20 years in prison, according to the Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office.
Pedro Delaflor was previously found guilty by a jury of attempted first-degree premeditated murder with a firearm in connection with the June 14, 2023, shooting.
Prosecutors said the shooting happened in the parking lot of an office building in downtown Delray Beach. The intended victim was not injured. Delaflor fled the scene but was apprehended a short time later…
