After decades of suffering, a Florida judge has finally ordered the removal of an entire herd of horses from a suburban Boca Raton property. The animals were found severely emaciated, standing in mud mixed with feces, with infected wounds, overgrown hooves, dental disease, and untreated skin conditions. The same individual has faced more than two dozen animal cruelty charges over roughly 20 years, involving horses, dogs, and birds.
