21-year-old busted after allegedly ramming FHP cruiser during 120 mph chase

HYPOLUXO, Fla. (CBS12) — Troopers say a 21-year-old West Palm Beach man sped 120 mph on I-95, rammed a trooper’s cruiser, and successfully fled before a tip ended in his arrest.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the chase began before midnight on January 10 along northbound I-95 near Hypoluxo Road when a trooper clocked 21-year-old Amari Moore traveling 120 mph in a 65 mph zone.

Investigators say Moore exited on Hypoluxo and ran multiple red lights to evade the trooper. Troopers say Moore made a U-turn to intentionally ram his car into the FHP vehicle, totaling and disabling it…
