Fire crews rescue horse stuck in muddy canal in Palm Beach County

WELLINGTON, Fla. (CBS12) — Palm Beach County Firefighters rushed to help a horse trapped in a muddy canal around 8:30 a.m. Thursday.

The horse had somehow gotten down the embankment and was stuck in water and mud up to its chest, PBCFR said in a Facebook post.

Fire rescue Crews worked carefully to lift the 800-1,000-pound horse just enough for it to climb out of the canal safely…
