Dirty Dining: 46 violations force Original Pancake closure in South Florida

MIAMI-DADE COUNTY, Fla. — Last week, inspectors with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation ordered three restaurants shut down, including The Original Pancake House in Miami-Dade County, which racked up an alarming 46 violations.

Inspectors documented live and dead roaches, dozens of ants crawling over clean utensils and food items, temperature-abused meats and cheese, improper food handling, employees failing to wash hands properly and in some cases not using soap.
