PALM SPRINGS, Fla. (CBS12) — A tip led police to a quiet Palm Springs neighborhood home allegedly hiding a $1 million counterfeit luxury operation selling fake designer goods online.
The investigation began after an anonymous tipster told the Palm Springs Police Department that a woman, later identified as 34-year-old Lazara Reyes Barbariche and 35-year-old Andy Boza Yzquierdo, both of Cuba, were selling counterfeit luxury items across several social media platforms from a home in a quiet neighborhood, drawing buyers from across South Florida.
