A man was driving at more than double the speed limit in a July 2024 fatal crash in suburban Boca Raton, authorities said in arresting him this month on a vehicular homicide charge.
Investigators say John Arthur Adams drove at 82 mph in a 30 mph zone along Sandalfoot Boulevard moments before he struck an electric scooter and killed its driver, 28-year-old Alexander Daniel Acevedo.
