Meet officials quickly shut the event down as people ran for safety. The driver later surrendered to law enforcement and was taken into custody. School staff said no students were injured.

According to CBS12, police arrested 43-year-old Dimson Cazius and booked him on a list of charges that includes trespassing on school grounds, driving with a suspended license, property damage exceeding $1,000, reckless driving, driving under the influence, refusal to submit to DUI testing and resisting an officer. Bond was set at $2,250 for citations issued by Delray Beach police and at $1,750 for felony charges filed by Palm Beach County Schools, the outlet reports. Cazius remained in custody and is scheduled to return to court on April 5, 2026, at 10:30 a.m., according to the same report.
