BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — One woman was killed and another critically injured Sunday night after a two-vehicle collision at a Boynton Beach intersection.
The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said that the crash happened at around 8:15 p.m. at Flavor Pict Road and Via Valenza, when a 2020 Honda CRV traveling eastbound on Flavor Pict Road attempted to make a left turn onto Via Valenza.
The driver, an 87-year-old woman from Boynton Beach, turned into the path of an oncoming westbound Toyota Tacoma. The front of the Tacoma struck the passenger side of the elderly woman’s vehicle, causing it to spin before coming to rest in the westbound travel lane…
