Jairzinho Rozenstruik has charges dropped from January arrest

Former UFC heavyweight contender Jairzinho Rozenstruik no longer faces charges stemming from a January arrest.

The case involving Rozenstruik was closed March 6 after the Broward County (Fla.) district attorney’s office elected not to pursue charges. TMZ Sports was first to report the news Saturday.

Rozenstruik, 37, faced a third-degree felony count of false imprisonment and a first-degree misdemeanor count of battery. However, the alleged victim in the case, who later identified herself as Rozenstruik’s wife, filed a request for charges and a protection order to be dropped in late January…
