Lake Park Elementary School Principal Carlos Castro was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on March 12, after a woman told a Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office investigator he crashed into the back of her car at the intersection of South Military Trail and Purdy Lane near Greenacres.
The investigator’s report said Castro, 51, had slow and slurred speech and failed a field sobriety test. His alcohol breath tests of .214 and .210 were more than twice the legal limit of .08, the report stated.
