GREENACRES, Fla. (CBS12) — Lucas Torres of West Palm Beach pleaded guilty Thursday morning in Palm Beach County court to second-degree murder and robbery with a weapon in the 2022 fatal shooting of Jean Oneal Guillaume in Greenacres, according to court information.
A judge deferred sentencing in the case. A status check hearing is scheduled for June 18, 2026.
Torres had originally been arrested on charges of first-degree murder with a firearm and robbery with a firearm in the March 15, 2022 killing. According to the original Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office arrest report, deputies responded to 1000 Waterway Village Court in Greenacres just before 11 p.m. and found Guillaume dead in the parking lot.
