A quiet stretch near Fort Lauderdale turned into an active crime scene Saturday morning after a shooting off Southwest 30th Terrace and 3rd Street left one person wounded. Broward Sheriff’s Office deputies rushed in, and paramedics took the injured person to a nearby hospital with what authorities described as non-life-threatening injuries.
Detectives from specialized BSO units spent the morning working the intersection, combing the area for evidence and speaking with people nearby. As of Sunday, officials had not announced any arrests or released a suspect description, keeping key details of the case close while the investigation continues.
