FLORIDA — Two men were killed early Wednesday morning after being struck by a pickup truck while standing outside their vehicles on Interstate 95, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Troopers said the crash occurred just before 5 a.m. on I-95 northbound near Old St. Augustine Road, northwest of State Road 9B.
Authorities said a 56-year-old man from Palm Coast and a 38-year-old man from Jacksonville had stopped their vehicles in the inside lane and were standing on the inside shoulder. It is unclear why the vehicles were stopped…
