A tragic case in Hollywood has led to multiple felony charges against two parents following the death of their 3-week-old baby. Authorities allege the infant was suffocated after being placed in a dangerous situation and left unattended for hours.
Emergency Response and Discovery
On August 1, 2025, officers from the Hollywood Police Department and emergency responders arrived at a home on Thomas Street after receiving a report of an unresponsive infant.
First responders found the baby inside a playpen in a private room. Despite their efforts, the child was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Investigators immediately noticed troubling details. The infant was lying face up with visible signs of distress, including foam around the mouth and dried blood on the lips. The baby was still wearing a soiled diaper.
