3 arrested after dozens of 911 calls lead to struggle with deputies in West Palm Beach

WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) — Three people were arrested Sunday morning after Palm Beach County sheriff’s deputies responded to a West Palm Beach home where a man had allegedly called 911 about 60 times without an emergency, according to arrest reports.

Deputies were sent just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday to a home in the 1000 block of Fernlea Drive after Serge Alexis, 39, allegedly made repeated 911 calls over a 24-hour period with no actual emergency. When deputies arrived, they met Serge Alexis’ parents, Wisner Alexis, 72, and Clomide Alexis, 67, at the residence and entered the home to check on Serge’s welfare after being told he was in a rear bedroom.

According to Serge Alexis’ probable cause affidavit, deputies found him still on the phone with 911 dispatchers when he came out of the bedroom. Investigators wrote that Serge admitted he was on the phone and that dispatch confirmed he was actively speaking with 911 at that moment, leading deputies to arrest him on a misuse-of-911 charge…
