Fort Lauderdale Block Rocked By Nighttime Gunfire, Two Left Clinging To Life

Two adults were left in critical condition after a Wednesday night shooting in Fort Lauderdale, according to police. Officers found the victims in the 2500 block of Northwest 21st Street, secured the scene and waited for detectives to arrive. Fort Lauderdale Fire Rescue transported both people to Broward Health Medical Center with life‑threatening injuries.

What happened

According to WPLG Local 10, officers responded around 9 p.m. to reports of a possible shooting and discovered two adults suffering from gunshot wounds. The station reports that crews administered whole blood while en route to the hospital and that detectives remained on scene as the investigation stayed active.
