Broward County, Florida – A deadly chain of events in Broward County is still under investigation after a police pursuit ended with a BMW submerged in a Parkland canal, leaving two men dead and another suspect in custody.
According to CBS NEWS, authorities said the incident unfolded Friday, April 18, when Sunrise police began pursuing a 2025 BMW X1 that was reportedly speeding away from officers.
At some point near Nob Hill Road and Loxahatchee Road, the pursuing officer lost sight of the vehicle. Not long after, the BMW was discovered in a canal along the north side of Loxahatchee Road, turning what had already been a dangerous situation into a fatal recovery operation…
