Alanna Russo, R.N., BSN, is the Assistant Nurse Manager for Unit 4W, a medical-surgical and telemetry unit at Broward Health Coral Springs. Healthcare has always been central to her life—her father began his career as a paramedic before becoming a nurse, her great grandmother worked in the operating room and her sister is now an OB-GYN—making caregiving a true calling.
