The Broward County School Board voted Monday to cut 1,000 jobs, including more than 300 employees who are currently working at the school district.
The cuts are part of a reorganization plan to slim down the district to keep pace with falling enrollment. The district has lost more than 30,000 to 40,000 kids in the last 4-5 years.
