BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Boise Police are investigating a bizarre incident that occurred just after 2:00 am on Thursday in downtown Boise.
Police officers witnessed a young man get out of a car in the middle of 9th and Front St. Officers then watched him take off running into a parking garage before hearing a gunshot. BPD reports that officers created a perimeter around the parking garage and quickly located the teen, who was suffering from an apparently self-inflicted gunshot wound to the leg.
Police identified the young man as a 17-year-old and believe he was intoxicated. He apparently accidentally shot himself in the leg while running through the parking garage. He was transported to the hospital with “injuries that appeared to be non-life-threatening,” according to BPD…
