Police pursuit ends in crash in Garden City, driver seriously injured

GARDEN CITY, Idaho — A Garden City police pursuit ended in a crash early June 6, sending a black Subaru driver to the hospital with serious injuries, Ada County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) said.

An Eagle Police deputy tried to stop the vehicle near North Glenwood Street and West State Street at about 1:13 a.m., according to ACSO. The Subaru then sped south on North Glenwood Street for about 1.5 miles before the driver tried to turn west onto West Chinden Boulevard and collided with a truck.

The Subaru’s male driver suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital. The adult female passenger was taken to a hospital with minor injuries and later sent home. The adult male truck driver was not injured ACSO said…
