BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Ada County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating the driver of a blue Yamaha R6 motorcycle after he evaded police on multiple occasions over the weekend.
The Sheriff’s office reports that around 2:30 pm on Saturday, June 6, the rider of a 2003-2005 Yamaha R6 motorcycle was seen by a Star Police deputy traveling eastbound on State Street at a “high rate of speed.” An Eagle deputy located the motorcyclist a short while later on Highway 16 and attempted a traffic stop. The rider took off at speeds in excess of 100 mph, according to deputies.
A Kuna sergeant located the rider shortly after near Ten Mile and Franklin Rd. and also attempted a traffic stop. The rider again fled at a high rate of speed…
