Report: West Ada School District Superintendent to receive $60,000 raise over 3 years

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Superintendent of Idaho’s largest school district is getting a $60,000 pay increase over the next three years.

IdahoEdNews first reported that the West Ada School Board voted to approve a new contract for Superintendent Derek Bub at Monday’s meeting without discussion. The pay increase will come as a $20,000-a-year raise over the next three years, culminating in a $290,822 annual salary by the 2028-2029 school year.

The West Ada School District is not doing an across-the-board salary increase for teachers in the coming school year, but as first reported by IdahoEdNews, they will be able to “move up the career ladder,” the district’s system for increasing teacher pay over time based on experience and performance…
