EAGLE, ID — A reckless driver led deputies on two pursuits through parts of Eagle and Ada County on June 13, 2026, before being pinned on a dead-end street and taken into custody, authorities said.
At about 12:51 p.m., an Eagle Police deputy who was looking for a suspect in an unrelated report of a fight in progress near Highway 44 and Highway 55 saw a silver Nissan Maxima drive past in the center divider at a high rate of speed near Highway 44 and Edgewood. The deputy was traveling eastbound at the time.
The Maxima was driving recklessly at excessive speeds, driving on the wrong side of the road and passing other vehicles unsafely. The deputy attempted to stop the vehicle, but it failed to yield, prompting a pursuit.
