The community is invited to help clean up a popular recreation area.
The community cleanup event, scheduled for 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 27, will focus on removing debris from the Morley Nelson Snake River Birds of Prey National Conservation Area south of Kuna, the Idaho National Guard stated in a news release.
The National Guard will provide dumpsters so participants can dispose of the “debris that has accumulated over time as recreational use of the area has increased, resulting in trash and other waste being left on public lands enjoyed by Idahoans and visitors alike.”…
