Boise ranks 48th priciest rental market; medians $1,300 one-bed, $1,500 two-bed

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Boise apartment rents continued to fall in June even as rental prices across the U.S. showed signs of stabilizing, according to Zumper’s June National Rent Report.

The report ranked Boise as the nation’s 48th most expensive rental market, with median rents of $1,300 for a one-bedroom apartment and $1,500 for a two-bedroom apartment.

One-bedroom rents in Boise are down 7.1% from a year ago and about 13% below their mid-2022 peak of nearly $1,500, following one of the nation’s steepest pandemic-era rent surges…
