Boise man sentenced to 25 years for groping girls at Roaring Springs

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — District Judge Lynn Norton sentenced 40-year-old Bo Gene Crisp of Boise Thursday afternoon to 25 years in prison, with the possibility of parole after three years, following his guilty plea to Sexual Battery of a Minor. Crisp must also register as a sex offender.

According to the Ada County Prosecutor’s Office, Meridian Police responded to Roaring Springs Waterpark on June 13, 2025, after multiple girls reported being sexually touched in the wave pool.

“Crisp used the natural movement of the waves and the crowded conditions as cover, positioning himself near young females and reaching under the water to grab their buttocks as waves passed,” reports a release from the prosecutor’s office. “His behavior was observed by other swimmers, park guests, employees, and even his own friend.”…
