Fire crews respond to rescue after person goes under during Boise River float

A float along the Boise River turned into an emergency Friday afternoon.

The Boise Fire Department responded to a call around 5 p.m. for a water rescue near Marianne Williams Park, according to Boise Fire spokesperson Lauren Melink.
