Mudslide closes section of Highway 21, drivers should expect delays

BOISE, Idaho — Idaho transportation officials have closed a stretch of Highway 21 between Grandjean and Banner Summit because of a mudslide.

The closure affects Highway 21 from milepost 94 to milepost 105, with all lanes closed as crews respond to the slide.

Drivers are being advised to use alternate routes and expect delays. Officials have not announced when the roadway will reopen…
