BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Wild Hearts Idaho invited the community to the Sixth Annual Wild River Dash, a family-friendly paddling and running duathlon that focused on “having fun and celebrating women and everything outdoors.”
The race began with a paddle out and back across Quinn’s Pond, then finished with a 2-mile loop run on the Boise Greenbelt. Participants could register as individuals or as relay teams of two, with one person paddling and the other running.
Organizers say all proceeds from the Wild River Dash went toward breaking down transportation barriers for Wild Hearts Idaho’s outdoor adventure programs, to ensure every girl has safe and reliable transportation for each adventure…
