New York Times hails Idaho restaurant as one of America’s best. It’s near Boise

An Idaho restaurant has been singled out as one of the nation’s best by The New York Times.

But don’t expect any gasps of shock from knowledgeable Boise foodies.

Thirty miles away in Caldwell, Amano, 802 Arthur St., is among the honorees in an August article titled “41 of the Greatest Mexican Restaurants Across the United States.” The guide takes readers on a culinary journey through the Times’ “favorite choices for seafood from Sonora, carnitas from Michoacán, chalupas from Puebla and so much more.”…
