NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — The roar of vintage military aircraft returned to the Treasure Valley as Idaho’s biggest two-day gathering of living warbirds came back to the Warhawk Air Museum for the annual Warbird Roundup on Aug. 29-30.
More than 25 flying warbirds from across the country were featured, including Mustangs, Warhawks, a P-38 Lightning, Bearcats, Texans, F-15 Strike Eagles, and more. Special guest speaker Kim “KC” Campbell also attended the event on Saturday.
Gates opened at 8 a.m. both days, with flying starting around 10 a.m. The event also included food trucks, a kid zone, vendors, and full museum access throughout the day. Kids were admitted free with a paid adult…
