An incarcerated man died from injuries sustained in an assault that happened in a Boise-area prison this week, according to a statement shared on social media by the Idaho Department of Correction.
Officials said the 66-year-old man had “life-threatening” injuries from the assault, which happened Wednesday at the minimum- and medium-security Idaho State Correctional Center south of Boise. The man has not been publicly identified.
