Dave Portnoy ripping Oregon to boost Michigan’s gifted win shows how fall the Wolverines have fallen

For moments on Saturday, it looked like the Oregon Ducks could be victims of the first major upset of the college football season against Boise State. The 2nd ranked Ducks instead battled to hang on, taking a 7-point lead in the 4th quarter and getting the defensive stops needed to secure a win.

While the Ducks didn’t play their best game, things could’ve been worse for Oregon. Michigan for example was gifted a win over Western Michigan because the officials somehow decided that 1 second should be added back onto the clock allowing the Wolverines to win on a Hail Mary.
