Eagle City Council to hold public hearing on proposed fire training, public works facility

EAGLE, Idaho (CBS2) — The Eagle City Council is scheduled to hold a public hearing Tuesday on a proposed public works and fire training facility planned for city-owned land near the Ada/Eagle Bike Park.

The proposal, submitted jointly by the City of Eagle and the Eagle Fire District, includes a government office and emergency services building, public works operations space, vehicle storage areas, and a live-fire training tower on approximately 7.4 acres near the intersection of North Horseshoe Bend Road and East Floating Feather Road.

According to city documents, the facility would be used for maintenance operations, administrative offices, training classrooms, and emergency services functions. Plans also call for an outdoor training area and storage of public works fleet vehicles…
