BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — While IdahoNews acknowledges that child sexual abuse and exploitation are difficult to talk about, we feel it is too common to ignore. We aim to keep you aware of local criminal cases and informed of resources that can help you protect the children in your life.

Members of the Idaho Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Unit arrested Michael Reppert, 66, on Sept. 11 on ten counts of sexual exploitation of a child.
The ICAC Unit received assistance from the Custer County Sheriff’s Office, Idaho Falls Police Department and Homeland Security Investigations during the arrest.
The Attorney General’s ICAC Unit works in partnership with the Idaho ICAC Task Force, a coalition of federal, state and local law enforcement agencies dedicated to investigating and prosecuting individuals who use the internet to exploit children.
