CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — A 33-year-old Caldwell man remains in critical condition after he was shot early Sunday in the 2800 block of S. Georgia Avenue, according to Caldwell Police.
Officers responded at about 1:10 a.m. on Sept. 20, after receiving a 911 call from a man reporting he had been shot. Police said officers arrived and found the 33-year-old suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the chest. Officers began rendering first aid until medical personnel arrived, and the man was taken to the hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Investigators said the shooting began as a domestic-related disturbance involving a woman who lives in the home and her former partner. Police determined the suspect, 29-year-old Jose Duran of Caldwell, came to the residence regarding a child they share, then later returned…
