BOISE — It spent a long sabbatical in India, but the Guinness World Record for the largest serving of fries is officially back in Idaho.
A crew of approximately four dozen volunteers spent more than five hours Friday evening cutting, flash-freezing and frying more than 60 boxes of Idaho-grown potatoes at the Idaho Botanical Garden to bring the title home for Potato Days.
