A Nampa police officer was transported to a hospital after an on-duty crash Monday evening at the intersection of Garrity Boulevard and Sugar Avenue, according to the Nampa Police Department.
The crash happened at about 7:37 p.m. on Oct. 5. Nampa police said an officer’s patrol vehicle was involved in a collision with a private vehicle.
The officer was taken by ambulance to a hospital, evaluated and later released, according to police. The officer has not yet returned to duty as of Tuesday afternoon but is expected to return soon, according to a spokesperson from Nampa police.
