ITD widens Mores Creek Bridge work zone to allow vehicles up to 12 feet wide

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — Drivers traveling through the State Highway 21 Mores Creek Bridge work zone will soon have more room to get through.

Starting Thursday, the Idaho Transportation Department will increase the width restriction on the Mores Creek Bridge project to allow vehicles up to 12 feet wide, a change aimed at improving access for commercial vehicles during construction.

Crews will remove concrete barriers and use traffic barrels that are easier to move to provide additional width through the work zone. The bridge will remain reduced to one lane, with the existing temporary signal controlling alternating traffic throughout the project…
