A new proposal would allow for nearly 20 acres of apartments next to Meridian’s newest Costco.
Brighton Corp. has proposed changes to its previous development agreement for the southeast corner of the intersection of Meridian Rd. and Lake Hazel Rd. As BoiseDev reported, previous plans for the site included a Costco, a mix of office and retail space, and a residential site.
The new plans would include all of this, plus a rezone of 19 acres of the residential area to allow for higher-density housing. Application materials filed with the City of Meridian show if approved, Brighton plans to bring in “garden-style apartments,” with more details to follow in future applications that would go before the City of Meridian…
