BOISE, Idaho — Bronco fans have the opportunity to get spooky at BSU this Halloween when Boise State hosts Texas State on Saturday, Oct. 31, at Albertsons Stadium.
The Halloween celebration will mark the inaugural The Blue After Dark game. Fans are encouraged to wear black and the first 3,000 Boise State students will receive an exclusive, custom-designed game day t-shirt. During halftime, the Keith Stein Blue Thunder Marching Band and Spirit Squad will perform, incorporating new lighting elements. Immediately following the band’s performance, the ceremony to unveil the Kellen Moore bronze statue will occur on The Blue.
Boise State is encouraging fans to go all out, turning the tailgate lots around Albertsons Stadium into a festive trunk-or-treat experience. Fans are invited to dress in their favorite costumes, decorate their tailgate spaces and bring individually wrapped candy to share with fellow Broncos, creating a fun and memorable Halloween celebration for the entire family. The festivities begin well before kickoff, with parking lots opening at noon and stadium gates opening at 6 p.m., giving fans plenty of time to enjoy Halloween activities and the game day atmosphere. Fans interested in participating in the trunk-or-treat are encouraged to register in advance. Register here by Wednesday, Oct. 28…
