Country music star coming to Nampa

It’s time to sip on margaritas and stop worrying about tomorrow — Luke Bryan is coming to Nampa this summer.

On Friday, Aug. 2, Bryan will grace the stage at the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater as part of his “Mind of A Country Boy Tour.” Audience members can hear songs like One Margarita, Waves and But I Got A Beer In My Hand.

“The tour will launch during the American Idol season on ABC where Luke serves as a celebrity judge alongside Katy Perry and Lionel Richie,” a news release said.

But that’s not his only stop in the Gem State. Bryan will play some of his country tunes in Idaho Falls the day before, on Aug. 1.

Ticket presales for fan club members begin on Tuesday, Feb. 6 at 8 a.m. and run through Thursday, Feb. 8 at 5 p.m. local time. After that, Citi cardmembers will have access to presale tickets starting on Wednesday, Feb. 7 at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday at 10 p.m. local time.

Otherwise, tickets will go on sale Feb. 9 at LukeBryan.com. The Ford Idaho Center’s website shows prices starting at $39.75 and going all the way up to just below $200.
